Laboratory
All materials produced in the electric arc furnaces are analysed and the charges corrected by additions based on the spectrometer results.
It houses the necessary equipment for these processes, including a Spectro Spectromax LMX07 Spectrometer, equipped with the latest CCD (light-sensitive electronic detector) technology for all metallurgical analyses.
The following equipment is used in the laboratory to produce quality services and backup for all internal and external customers:
- Chemical analysis equipment
- Mechanical testing equipment
- Metallographic equipment
- Heat treatment equipment
- Sand testing equipment
Certificates of production analysis and any metallurgical tests or investigations carried out are also issued accordingly.
