A Brief History About Nimr and Chapman
Originally a cast iron foundry principally manufacturing spares for the Mining Industry, Nimr and Chapman was established in Bulawayo in 1931.
Founding partner Martin Nimr obtained control of the equity in the early 1940s. Nimr and Chapman’s steady growth has culminated in the company being one of the largest fully integrated heavy engineering works, capable of producing some of the largest castings and heavy machine work in Zimbabwe today
